 Fearns 6000 tonne capacity cold storage facility now means that our quality product is available out of season.
Cold storage of swede reduces the risk to quality from adverse weather, and allows flexible harvesting. Continuity of supply means we can produce high quality, out-of-season swede at competitive prices for consumers. Access to home-grown swede in the off-season means huge cost savings - which are passed on to our customers.
Our cold storage facility is located at our main site near Laurencekirk, and is fully compliant with Government legislation.
