About Fearns
Fearn’s has its roots firmly established in farming. From its modest start, Allan and Ann Fearn established their business in 1988, here in Laurencekirk. With their twin sons, Mike on Sales and James on Production the business has expanded over the years using innovative methods on production, harvest and storage to produce year-round availability of Swede and Carrot to the markets in the UK and throughout Europe.
With over 50 employees at the Laurencekirk site, our focus and commitment to staff welfare has earned us a high level of respect as an employer, for both British and EU Residents. Fearn’s has been classed by Concordia as having one of the highest standards of on-site accommodation in the UK.
Fearn’s are proud to have long and well established partnerships with experienced growers throughout the UK, thus ensuring that seasonal varieties and premium produce are readily available throughout the year.
